Congratulations to the City of Citrus Heights for being awarded a grant in the amount of $129,565 from the Cannabis Tax Fund Program administered by the California Highway Patrol!
The proceeds from this grant will be used to enhance DUI enforcement efforts which are crucial for public safety. The City aims to acquire a dedicated vehicle for DUI saturation patrols, ensuring swift response and effective monitoring of impaired driving incidents. Additionally, funding will support overtime payments for officers to enable them to conduct additional patrols.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.

Council Member Jose Alonso and City Manager Cristian Gonzalez had the opportunity to meet with Senator Anna Caballero to discuss the City’s priorities, projects, and goals. These valuable discussions will further support Mendota’s efforts to promote residents’ interests, strengthen local businesses, and foster community development.

TPA congratulates the City of Soledad for being awarded a grant in the amount of $215,967 from the Tobacco Grant Program administered by the California Department of Justice.
The proceeds from this grant will fund tobacco retailer enforcement to include retailer inspections and enforcement operations, including flavored tobacco enforcement. Additionally, these funds will support the implementation of post-enforcement actions for violators.
This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City leadership to protect and promote the quality of life of its residents and the prosperity of its businesses.
