AB 370 Signed into Law

Jul 21, 2025

TPA is proud to share that Assembly Bill 370 (Carrillo), legislation sponsored by our client, the City of Hesperia, has been signed into law by Governor Newsom!

AB 370 provides critical flexibility for local governments responding to Public Records Act requests in the event of a cyberattack, allowing additional time to access affected systems and prioritize restoring essential services.

We commend the leadership of Assemblymember Juan Carrillo, Hesperia Mayor Allison Lee, and the many statewide partners who supported this effort, including the League of California Cities, California State Association of Counties, Rural County Representatives of California, and California Special Districts Association.

At TPA, we are honored to help our clients turn their priorities into policy and strengthen the resilience of California communities.
